This individual is responsible for greeting arriving guests, seating, establishing rapport and assisting with their overall restaurant experience

Meets arriving guests with cordial greeting, escorts to assigned tables, issues menus, and solicits rapport in order to accommodate specials needs or requests.

Assigns sections and notifies servers of new guests in their section to ensure the guest receive immediate attention.

Maintains a highly visible appearance in the restaurant during the entire shift and helps servers and bartenders when necessary.

Manages and controls reservation book (open table) to ensure quality service.

Answers telephones using the standard greeting in a pleasant & professional manner.

Attends daily pre-shift meetings.

Maintains a complete and up-to-date knowledge of all menu items, daily additions and beverages offered.

Follows hotel and departmental policies and procedures.

High school Diploma or equivalent education.

Background in Customer Service or experience working in a restaurant.

Must have a flexible schedule and be available to work nights weekends, and holidays.
