This position is entirely remote, allowing you to foster a healthy work-life balance while serving clients in a flexible setting. We value autonomy and flexibility, enabling you to create your own schedule that accommodates your personal needs while ensuring our clients receive continued support. Implement therapeutic modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) in one-on-one sessions. Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary team members—including psychiatrists and psychologists—to ensure a comprehensive approach to treatment, drawing from each other’s expertise for the benefit of our clients.
Participate in case consultations and peer review sessions, contributing to a culture of shared learning and quality assurance. Your willingness to learn will enhance both personal growth and the effectiveness of care provided to our clients.
Educate and inform clients and their families about mental health issues, treatment paths, and available community resources, enabling them to make well-informed decisions regarding their care and support network.
Stay current with developments in the mental health field through ongoing education and research. Integrating new insights into your practice will ensure that clients receive the most effective and relevant therapies available.
Clients served at Leslie Psychotherapy Ltd. include individuals grappling with a variety of mental health challenges—ranging from anxiety and depression to trauma and stress-related disorders. A master’s or doctoral degree in fields such as Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
Current licensure as an LCSW, LCSW-R, LMFT, or LMHC in New York, reflecting a professional commitment to excellence in mental health counseling.
Demonstrable experience in utilizing solution-focused psychotherapy interventions and customized treatment planning based on client assessments.
Proficient problem-solving abilities and critical thinking skills that allow you to navigate complex mental health issues and guide clients towards meaningful change.
Experience working in a community health setting, particularly with a diverse client population, is highly desirable.
Familiarity with digital tools for teletherapy and electronic health record systems can enhance your ability to provide remote care efficiently and effectively.
