Front Desk Receptionist - Healthcare (Temp)

Join Our Caring Community The Receptionist 1 welcomes patients and offers administrative support within a physician practice or center. The Receptionist 1 receives and correctly routes incoming and outgoing telephone calls and accommodates visitors to attend to all callers/visitors promptly.

Location: Conviva Senior Primary Care office located at 5718 Spohn Dr., #You will be reporting to Supervisor, Center Administration

Operate a switchboard or multi-line phone and maintain long distance call logs.

Greeting Patients: Welcome patients and visitors, both in person and over the phone.

Schedule appointments, manage appointment calendars, schedule patient visits, and coordinate with medical staff to improve schedules.

Work in Electronic Medical Record (EMR) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems.

Update patient accounts correctly. Ensure the reception area is tidy, sanitized, and well-stocked with necessary materials.

Help with other administrative tasks, such as ordering supplies, managing office inventory, and sending courier packages.

High School Diploma or GED

1 year or more of experience working in a Healthcare setting preferred but will consider candidates with a Customer Service background in Retail Hospitality, Call Centers.

Excellent customer service

Knowledge of Medical Terminology

Experience with EMR Systems (Electronic Medical Records)

Bilingual in English and Spanish
