Maintenance Mechanic – Orange, California

We are looking for a skilled maintenance mechanic who can do electrical and mechanical repairs on production line equipment. Experience with PLCs, 480V, VFDS, etc. is required.

Salary: $29-$31 hourly

Shift: 5:00 PM–1:30 AM (second shift differential $0.25)

Responsibilities

Primarily responsible for maintaining their respective production lines.

Support Maintenance Manager by identifying known problems or requesting parts needed to maintain or repair equipment.

Complete any special projects or work orders in a safe and timely manner.

Keep work area clean and organized.

Complete daily line checklist and support line lead with any equipment problems.

Practice good teamwork and cooperation with fellow employees.

Ensure operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance on motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production lines.

Locate sources of equipment problems by observing mechanical devices in operation, using precision measuring and testing instruments.

Remove defective parts by dismantling devices, using hand/power tools, and examining form and texture of parts.

Control downtime by working with and training line operators.

Fabricate repairs using machine shop instrumentation and equipment.
