Summary: Responsible for responding to medical emergencies and delivering patient care, support, and evaluation in a pre-hospital setting, like on scene and during transport to the hospital. This generally includes assessing the patient, determining the proper emergency care, and administering treatment. Provide patients with emergency care by utilizing appropriate techniques and equipment.

Document patient information, condition, and treatment.

Transport patients in accordance with outlined policies and procedures.

Maintain a safe, clean, and well-stocked environment for patients.

Operate and drive an ambulance in conjunction with applicable safety policies and laws.

Qualifications Education High School Diploma or Equivalent required or Trade/Technical/Vocational Diploma

Emergency Medical Technician required

Licenses and Credentials Basic Life Support [BLS Certification] - Data Conversion - Various Issuers required

Emergency Medical Technician [EMT License] - Generic - HR Only required

Emergency Medical Technician [NREMT-Basic] - National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT) preferred

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Demonstrated ability to implement clinical care in accordance with outlined policies and procedures.

Pay Range $19.47 - $26.80/Hourly Grade 4
