Job Description Registered Nurse - RN

A Faith-Based, Nonprofit, Short-Term Rehabilitation and Skilled Geriatric Care facility sponsored by the Carmelite Sisters for the Aged and Infirm, we've served the community since 1960. We are a place of life, a place of caring, and more importantly, a true home for our residents.

We are seeking to hire a Registered Nurse - RN .

• Part-Time for Days Evening (3pm to 11pm) and Night (11pm to 7am) shifts.
• $36.06 per hour.

Registered Nurse - RN Qualifications :

Current licensure in the State of Florida as a Registered Nurse - RN.

One year experience as a staff nurse in a hospital, long term care facility, or other medical care facility with at least 6 months supervisory experience.

Registered Nurse - RN Job Summary:

Periodically review the resident's discharge plan and participates in its updating as required.

Complete accident/incident reports for submission to the Nursing Department by the end of your shift.

Prepare and administer medications as ordered by the physician.

Make daily rounds of your unit to ensure that nursing service personnel are performing their work assignments.

Inform nursing personnel of new admissions, their expected time of arrival, room assignment, etc.

Participate in orientation of new residents/family members to the facility.

Arrange for diagnostic and therapeutic services as ordered by the physician.

Notify the resident's attending physician and family member when there is a change in the resident's condition.
