Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Omaha, Nebraska.

A registered nurse specializing in Emergency Room (ER) nursing is sought for a facility located in Omaha, Nebraska. This position involves providing patient care in a high-acuity environment and requires candidates to bring their license on the first day. Schedule: 12-hour shifts with various times including 7 a.m. Shift Notes: The shift hours are 12 hours, with a minimum of 36 hours per week. Weekend work is required every third weekend, with self-scheduling for shifts. Night shifts are Friday and Saturday; day shifts are Saturday and Sunday. No shifts are guaranteed until the schedule is final.
Required Qualifications: RN license, at least 2 years of ER experience, valid driver's license, current certifications (BLS, ACLS, PALS), Nebraska state licensure, and ability to work shifts as outlined.
Candidates must be outside a 50-mile radius from the facility and not be full-time, part-time, or PRN with any organization associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and Dignity. RTO (Reasonable Time Off) must be requested upfront within 7 days or less per 13-week contract, with no additional RTO approved afterward. The hospital can cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment, or 3 if the duration is less than 13 weeks.
