Roaming Maintenance Techs within Fairway Management play a key role in the organization by providing support to their assigned properties and filling in to perform routine maintenance duties including rough carpentry, painting and basic equipment or facility repairs. This is role that involves regular travel.
Complete daily resident work orders.
Must be willing to travel 75% to 100% of the week, requiring own reliable transportation.
Must have applicable maintenance tools.
Conduct unit turns in a timely manner including painting, carpet cleaning, and general unit cleaning as needed.
Perform quarterly preventative maintenance checks if applicable.
Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, and snow.
Reports to Regional Manager and Maintenance Superintendent for all delegated tasks.
Travel to, and participate in, both regional and corporate training and/or conferences as required.
High School diploma or the equivalent

3 to 5 years of multifamily, commercial, or hotel maintenance experience

• Must have 1 to 2 years of verifiable HVAC troubleshooting, repairs, and installation experience.
• Must have working knowledge in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting, and building operating systems ( ie. Door entry systems, fire suppression systems, etc.)
