Essentia Health is seeking a licensed practical nurse or certified medical assistant to serve in the family medicine practice at our Brainerd Clinic in Brainerd, Minnesota. This LPN or CMA works 7:30 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday. Typically this employee will have one or two weekdays off, but this is a flex position. Hours may be flexed upward or downward without notice based on the needs of the facility. No weekend, holiday, or on-call rotations are required. About Essentia Health:

Assists RN, Physician and other providers and provides direct patient care in the ambulatory care setting to contribute to meeting the mission and goals of Essentia Health. Patient Care and Monitoring: Perform routine assessments such as measuring vital signs, recording patient histories, and observing symptoms to assist in diagnosing and monitoring patient health.
Assisting with Procedures: Support physicians and nurse practitioners during examinations and minor procedures by preparing equipment, assisting with patient positioning, and ensuring proper infection control.
Coordination of Care: Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans, and assist in coordinating follow-up appointments and referrals.
Conduct initial patient intake processes, including gathering medical histories, updating personal information, and preparing patients for examination or diagnostic testing.
