Duet is a unique provider of in-home care services for older adults in NYC. Our mission is to improve the quality of life for our clients by providing outstanding caregivers that they wouldn’t find elsewhere. We employ individuals from the arts and performing arts, and graduate programs, healthcare fields, and various other professions. In addition to staffing caregivers, we strive to provide outstanding client service to our clients and their family members. Our service area includes Manhattan, Northern Brooklyn, Queens and the Bronx / Riverdale.

Everything we accomplish stems from hiring the right people. Being both efficient and creative in sourcing new candidates is also very important. You may find candidates through online resources, as well as exploring offline sources and discovering various niche communities that contain otherwise overlooked candidates.

Source candidates from various channels, both online and offline

Partner closely with our staffing, nursing, and client services teams to ensure we hire the right people, including at least three weekly meetings to review applicants and new hires

Maintain accurate personnel records, including, but not limited to, reviewing caregiver medical documentation, ensuring compliance with DOH requirements, checking caregiver references, and managing employment verifications

Help keep the office running smoothly and efficiently, including handling phone calls professionally and welcoming applicants into our space

Bachelor’s Degree preferred

Preferred minimum of three years working with a licensed home care services agency (LHCSA) in New York, though not required

General experience in home care or a related field is a plus
