Join Our Dynamic Labor and Delivery Team Job Description: - Exciting opportunity to work in a vibrant Women's Services unit. - Help bring new life into the world while supporting mothers in their journey! - Unit Specifics: - LDRP with 9 beds, OBED 1 bed, NICU 4 beds, and 1 OR suite. - couplet care 1:3; NICU 1:3 intermediate care. - No techs or unit secretaries available, enhancing your hands-on experience. - State-of-the-art equipment: CPN Central monitoring, IV pumps, infant warmers, tele-med robot for neonatology, bili-blankets, PCA pumps. - Meditech and CPN. - Scheduling: 3 shifts per week, rotating weekends and holidays. PRN positions available. - Floating policy: Staff may float anywhere in the facility as needed. - Qualifications: - Required labor and delivery experience, including labor and recovery of mothers and transitioning newborns. - Experience with shoulder dystocia, postpartum hemorrhage, and OB emergencies is preferred. - Fetal monitoring, inductions (Pitocin, cervidil). - C-sections, circumcisions, intra-uterine monitoring, vacuum or forceps assisted deliveries. - Certifications: BLS, NRP, Fetal Monitoring training. - Pink and/or brown scrubs as per infant security policy. - Gain experience in a supportive LDRP unit with seasoned RN mentors. - Collaborative team atmosphere with a commitment to helping each other thrive. - Opportunities for comprehensive experience in labor, delivery, postpartum, and neonate care.
