Full Time Housekeeper / Hotel Housekeeping
Holiday Inn Express & Suites Tampa East - Ybor City
The Housekeeper is responsible for ensuring guest rooms and assigned areas are cleaned and maintained according to brand and company standards. This includes making beds, cleaning bathrooms, vacuuming floors, replenishing amenities, and reporting maintenance issues.You will be focused on optimizing each guest’s experience by living out our company purpose: "hospitality from our family to yours."
Clean and prepare assigned guest rooms in accordance with Naples Hotel Group and brand standards.
Maintain a fully stocked housekeeping cart with the appropriate products and supplies needed for daily assignments.
Report the status of cleaned rooms promptly and accurately to the Executive Housekeeper or Front Desk.
Report any maintenance issues, room damage, or supply shortages immediately.
Greet all guests encountered during the shift with a friendly and welcoming attitude.
Follow hotel procedures for reporting and turning in lost and found items.
Comply with all safety policies, including emergency procedures and equipment handling.
Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions immediately.
Complete all required safety training and certifications.
Prior experience working in housekeeping or janitorial services, preferably in a hotel or hospitality setting.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, based on hotel needs.
This position requires being on your feet for the majority of the shift, involving frequent standing, walking, bending, stretching, lifting, pulling, pushing, twisting, and repetitive use of arms and hands.
Must be able to climb stairs and navigate around the property throughout the shift.
Must be able to work in various environmental conditions, including heat, cold, and outdoor elements as need
