Full Time Optician/Tech

The Optician role is a full-time, on-site position based in Hillsboro, OR. The role involves maintaining inventory, processing orders, and performing quality checks on completed eyewear. Providing clear communication, education on eyewear care, and a high level of customer service to ensure patient satisfaction are key components of this position.

Strong knowledge of optics and lens technologies, including frame fitting and lens measurements.

Experience supporting optometry services, including understanding of prescriptions and coordination with eye exams.

Demonstrated customer service and customer satisfaction skills in a clinical or retail optical setting.

Attention to detail, manual dexterity, and comfort working with optical tools and equipment.

Effective communication skills and ability to explain eyewear options in clear, accessible language.

Prior experience as an optician or optical technician preferred; Ability to work on-site full time in Hillsboro, OR, including collaborating with a multidisciplinary eye care team.
