Medical Receptionist

Hillsboro Eye Clinic has been serving the Hillsboro community for over 50 years. Our mission is to provide high-quality health care in a professional manner, while maintaining a warm and caring atmosphere for our patients.We are seeking a motivated individual with strong customer service skills to join our Reception Team. Experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right applicant.Job Summary:Performs a variety of administrative functions. Schedules appointments, answers incoming calls and directs patients to the correct department. Checks patients in and out by gathering proper insurance information, patient demographics and collects co-pays/amount due. Able to successfully and routinely balance cash drawer and batches. Able to travel to our three locations (all in Hillsboro), Triage scheduling, referrals, and insurance verification.
