Remote Attorney - Commercial Real Estate

Legal Recruiter | Trueline | Legal Recruiting Trueline’s client, a well-regarded full-service law firm with a strong presence in the Southeast, is seeking a Commercial Real Estate Associate to join their Charleston, SC team. In this pivotal role, you’ll advise on a wide range of commercial real estate matters and help drive successful closings and transactions.
What You’ll Do as the Mid-Level Real Estate Associate:
Lead client engagements involving acquisitions, dispositions, real property financings, and real estate-backed equity investments
Draft, negotiate, and finalize leases, development agreements, zoning filings, and joint venture arrangements
Counsel commercial and institutional clients—including developers, institutional investors, and lenders—on complex zoning, entitlement, and land-use challenges
Manage property tax appeals and workforce housing agreements with local authorities
Must-Haves as the Mid-Level Real Estate Associate:
Juris Doctor from an accredited law school
Minimum of five years’ experience practicing commercial real estate law, with demonstrated success on complex transactions
Strong technical skill in real estate finance, zoning, entitlements, leasing, and development
Proven track record representing developers, lenders, joint venture partners, or institutional clients
Nice-to-Haves as the Mid-Level Real Estate Associate:
Familiarity with workforce housing agreements or municipal development incentives
