TravelNurseSource is working with Concentric Healthcare Staffing to find a qualified Telemetry RN in Joplin, Missouri, 64804!

Travel RN – Cardiac Med Telemetry (Days)
Contract | Travel | Days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | 36 hours per week guaranteed | 13-week assignment
Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care for a cardiac medical telemetry population including post cardiac cath, AFib, CHF, stable MI, pacemaker insertion, and general medical overflow patients
Monitor patients using GE telemetry monitoring equipment, IV pumps, glucometers, and computers; document care using EPIC EMR
Evaluate the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers and coordinate patient care in conjunction with other departments
Maintain patient rights and confidentiality of patient information in accordance with facility standards
Perform weekend and on-call duties as required by the facility; float to other units as needed
Current RN license; must meet eligibility criteria for licensure in the state of Missouri or hold a current Missouri RN license
Minimum 2+ years of Stepdown or ICU experience in an acute care hospital setting
Flu vaccination or approved exemption required for assignments running November 1 through April 1; Experience caring for post-operative surgical patients and trauma patients, as the unit accepts this patient population
Familiarity with EPIC EMR
Work at a recognized Level 2 Trauma, Stroke, and STEMI Center with nationally recognized care standards, NCDR Platinum Performance Achievement, and all-private patient rooms
