Student Desk Assistant
Student Affairs is excited to begin the search for a Student Desk Assistant to service the James E. The student desk assistant supports daily front-desk operations by providing friendly customer service, offering guidance to visitors, and managing basic administrative tasks.
Greet building visitors in a cheerful and welcoming manner. Provide access to meeting rooms to customers who have reservations. Help them connect with Event Operations Team if Audio-Visual assistance is needed
Receive and document lost and found items
Answer the desk phone in a cheerful and welcoming manner. Arrive promptly for shifts, dressed in provided uniforms, presenting a professional appearance and enthusiastic team attitude
Enrolled student at Auburn University
Applicants must be eligible to work weekdays, evenings, and weekends, including early mornings and home football games during the fall semester
Possess some customer service experience
Excellent telephone etiquette
Ability to work early mornings, late evenings, and weekends, including home football games
Ability to work during school breaks preferred
Previous customer service work experience
