The Plant HR Consultant partners with plant leadership and employees to deliver HR solutions that drive operational effectiveness, employee engagement, and compliance. Serving as a trusted advisor, this role supports workforce planning, talent acquisition and development, employee relations, and change initiatives aligned with plant and business objectives.
Partner with the Plant HR Manager to ensure the plant has the talent, capability, and workforce plan needed to execute the plant strategy and achieve business results.
Serve as an HR contact for plant management and employees, providing guidance on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
Support recruitment, onboarding, and retention strategies to help the plant attract and retain top talent.
Advise on employee relations issues; Implement and monitor compliance with employment and labor laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
Facilitate training and development programs to upskill plant employees and support career growth.
Partner with plant leadership on organizational change, workforce planning, and performance management.
Analyze plant HR metrics (e.g., Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives at the plant level.
Lead or support plant HR projects and initiatives as needed.
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
5+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably in a manufacturing or plant environment.
Working knowledge of employment law and HR compliance requirements.
Experience using HRIS and producing reports/insights to support data-driven decision-making.
Employee relations capability, including investigation fundamentals, conflict resolution, and sound judgment.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel (pivots, lookups, basic data cleaning) and PowerPoint; comfortable working with HR datasets and metrics.
Master’s degree and/or HR certification (e.g., Continuous improvement experience (Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen).
Advanced Excel and/or HR analytics tools (e.g., Power BI); This position does not support immigration sponsorship.
The range for this position is $79,519.00 - $109,339.00 assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
