About the Role: We're on the lookout for a remote drug and alcohol counselor to join the leading digital clinic for substance addictions. Collaborating closely with our dynamic team, you'll contribute to the rapid growth of our business, gaining invaluable firsthand experience in scaling up a successful venture.

This is a full-time, remote position with flexible working hours, open to candidates based anywhere in the U.Provide counseling to members on a weekly basis through text-based chat, video calls, and phone calls, to monitor their progress on their recovery journey

Onboard the users with an initial phone call and complete a multidimensional assessment to gather relevant behavioral health history and symptoms

Work within Atlas, Pelago's AI-native EHR, which automates session documentation, surfaces real-time evidence-based guidance during calls, and prepares clinical context before each session — so your time stays focused on member care, not administrative lift

Be supportive and encouraging to members to help them establish and sustain motivation to change their substance use

Bachelors Degree required

Proficient with Motivational Interviewing (MI), Motivational Enhancement Therapy (MET), MAT coordination, and Relapse Prevention

Proven ability to collaborate with cross-disciplinary healthcare teams (coaches, physicians, nurses)

quick to learn new tools and platforms

Prior telehealth experience across multiple time zones and/or digital health settings
