Travel Ultrasound Tech/Sonographer - ER

Sonographer / Ultrasound Tech – Ultrasound specialty in Burlington, Vermont, United States. This travel temporary assignment starts 08/27/2026 and runs for 4 weeks. Weekly pay ranges from $2,367 to $2,491 per week with no guaranteed hours. The shift is four 10-hour nights (Sun–Wed, 8:00 p.m.–The assignment takes place within a large teaching health system with two campus sites.

• Contract duration: Shift: Night shift, four 10-hour nights (Sun–Wed, 8 p.m.–Travel assignment within a large teaching health system with two campus sites
• Mileage-based rates: travel distance tiers measured by direct line

Perform ultrasound examinations across abdomen, gynecology, vascular, and breast imaging per department protocols; include ultrasound-guided breast biopsies as required.

• Optimize image quality and patient positioning; maintain sterile technique and equipment calibration; Operate ultrasound equipment and document findings; provide preliminary results for radiologist review and communicate with the care team.
• Document in the electronic medical record (Epic experience within the past 2 years is required) and ensure accurate patient data and exam coding.
• coordinate with breast care center services and other specialties as needed.
• Ensure timely exam turnaround and participate in continuous quality improvement and credentialing activities.

ARDMS certification in abdomen, gyn, and vascular; Ultrasound Tech Certification Verification (Equivalency)

• Experience: Minimum 2 years of ultrasound experience; experience in a breast care center; large teaching hospital experience required; Epic experience within the past 2 years is required and nonnegotiable
• four 10-hour night shifts (Sun–Wed); destination travel assignment
