This position involves working with patients pre and post procedures related to interventional cardiology, electrophysiology, and peripheral vascular treatments.
The role requires telemetry monitoring for some patients, but not all.
Candidates should be proficient in monitoring and managing arterial and venous access sites.
Knowledge of hemostasis management for these access sites is essential.
The position does not require weekend or holiday shifts.
Candidates should be prepared for the EKG exam during the compliance process.
All candidates must pass this exam to be eligible for the role.
This position is ideal for nurses familiar with the care needs of cardiac, electrophysiology, and interventional radiology patients.
Femoral and radial arterial/venous access management skills are imperative for this role.
