CNC Machinist - 1st, 2nd and Weekend Shift

CNC Machinist (Haas Mills & Multi-Axis Lathes) All Shifts Available | Competitive Pay + Shift Differentials
We are seeking a skilled and motivated CNC Machinist to join our growing team. In this role, you will operate and set up Haas mills and multi-axis lathes to support both short-run and long-term production. Key Responsibilities
Operate CNC multi-axis lathes and Haas milling machines
Perform machine setups, including proper tooling selection and adjustments
Conduct tool changes and ensure machine readiness
Inspect finished parts using dial micrometers, digital calipers, and height gauges
Perform minor CNC program edits as needed
Complete production documentation using iPads and digital systems
Manage both short production runs (810 parts) and long runs (multi-day)
Perform 23 machine setups per week
Maintain quality standards and production efficiency
Required Qualifications
Minimum 1+ year of recent CNC machining experience (mills or lathes)
Hands-on experience with machine setup and tooling
Ability to use precision measuring instruments
Strong attention to detail and quality
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with multi-axis lathes
Experience with Haas CNC mills
Ability to read and interpret blueprints/technical drawings
Experience running both mills and lathes
Previous experience in a high-mix, low-volume environment
Compensation & Benefits

• Competitive hourly pay (based on experience)
• 25% shift differential for 2nd shift and weekend shift
• Paid for 40 hours while working only 36 hours (weekend shift)

Work Schedule Options
1st Shift (Training Shift):
~ Monday Thursday | 5:00 AM 3:30 PM

2nd Shift:
Monday Thursday | 3:30 PM 2:00 AM
Includes 25% shift differential
Weekend Shift:
Friday Sunday | 6:00 AM 6:00 PM
Work 36 hours, get paid for 40
Includes 25% shift differential

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Shakopee, MN.
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $40.00/hr.
