Full-time Paraeducator

Assisting teachers in a warm and nurturing environment in which each child can grow physically, socially, emotionally, and intellectually. Promoting home and Center relations and a partnership with families and the community. Preparing and serving nutritious meals with accurate food portions following the USDA Child and Adult Care Food Program requirements. Assisting in the supervision and education of university students participating in the Center for Child Development.
Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:30am-5:30pm during regular university hours. 8:00am-4:30pm during break and summer hours.
Pay is based on several factors, including budget, labor market, prior experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and/or certification and other business considerations.
High School Diploma or GED and a minimum of three years of experience working with children 6 weeks-5 years of age OR Two years of college and experience working with children 6 weeks-5 years of age.

Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field OR Child Development Associate credential

Operation of kitchen appliances, washer/dryer, and sanitizer
Knowledge of Microsoft office and email
Customer-oriented to best meet the needs of children, parents, university students, and community guests
