Buyer

We are seeking a qualified Buyer to support our manufacturing operations by purchasing goods, materials, and services to ensure production schedules and customer demands are met. This role is responsible for managing supplier relationships, monitoring inventory levels, identifying cost‑saving opportunities, and supporting strategic procurement initiatives. The ideal candidate will have experience in a manufacturing environment and a strong understanding of purchasing and supply chain processes.

Purchase goods, materials, and services to support operational and production requirements.

Monitor inventory levels and ensure adequate stock based on forecasts and manufacturing demands.

Collaborate with Engineering and Quality teams to qualify new suppliers and products.

Support import/export activities and procurement compliance initiatives.

Research market trends and supplier capabilities to support purchasing decisions.

Ensure compliance with company purchasing policies and procedures.

Maintain accurate purchasing records and documentation.

Bachelor's degree preferred.

2–5 years of purchasing experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.

Strong understanding of purchasing, procurement, and requisition processes.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Supply chain and procurement experience preferred.

Ability to read and interpret bills of materials (BOMs), drawings, specification sheets, and procurement documents.

Understanding of inventory management and demand planning concepts.

This position is based out of the corporate headquarters and manufacturing facility in a professional office/cubicle environment. Employees work a standard Monday through Friday schedule from 8:00 a.m. Business casual attire is required.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Columbus, OH.
