Ideally candidates come with a background in the retirement space or asset management/funds.Analyze, plan, and develop requirements and standards in reference to scheduled technical projectsHost technical project meetings with clients to keep them up to date on milestones and overall project statusHold regular technical team meetings to determine progress and address any questions or challenges regarding projectsDetermine and define clear deliverables, roles and for team members required for specific projects or initiativesFacilitate communication with leadership and other key strategy stakeholders, including regular reports and strategy progress meetingsDocumenting and following up on important actions and decisions from meetingsDevelop, promote, and maintain standards and tools for portfolio and project management, with the goal of delivering every project on time, within budget, and within the scopePossess a thoughtful leadership mindset; operate tactfully and effectivelyEnsuring project deadlines are metManage scope changesSkills:10+ years of technical engineering experience or relevant experience7+ years of managing technical projects (Software, Operations, Applications) or relevant experienceExperience with Agile methodologies and tools (JIRA)Ability to predict challenges and seek to proactively head-off obstaclesDemonstrated understanding of Project Management processes, strategies, and methodsExcellent time management and organizational skills and experience establishing guidelines in these areas for othersProfessional Project Management Certification from accredited institution preferredExperience working in a high-level collaborative environment and promoting a teamwork mentalityRequired Skills: 10+ years of technical project/program management experience Experience managing programs with the following tech stack/combination of tools: Azure, Spring, Java Extensive background in financial services/banking Basic Qualification: Background Check: Yes Drug Screen: Yes Notes: We need a Sr Technical Program Manager that comes from the financial services industry.
