Materials Handler - Full-Time Evenings

Metro Services is seeking to immediately fill Material Handler positions for a Manufacturing company in Frankfort, IN. This is a Temp-to-Hire job. Perform day-to-day material handling operations throughout the production floor• Load, unload, move, and transport materials using forklifts and overhead bridge cranes• Complete required paperwork regarding incoming materials and outgoing customer shipments• Participate in cycle counts and inventory audits as directed• Input inventory and shipment data into computer systems accurately• Ensure safety, quality, and efficiency standards are consistently met• Perform other duties as assignedCompensation (USD):$19.25/hourSchedule:2nd ShiftMonday - Friday2:45 p.m. - High School Diploma or equivalent required• Previous forklift experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment preferred• Ability to complete forklift and overhead bridge crane certification training• Basic computer skills and ability to enter data into company systems• Basic math and measurement skills• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality• Ability to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as required• Must be willing to wear required PPE, including safety shoes, safety glasses, and hearing protection• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and meet physical demands of the positionWHY APPLY FOR A JOB AT METRO SERVICESIf you're ready to take hold of your career, we can help you start down the right path, and we'll be with you the whole way.
