Job Overview A law firm seeks a Senior Attorney in Needham Heights, MA. This full‑time hybrid role involves providing advanced legal counsel and representation across the firm's core practice areas, focusing on complex matters requiring seasoned judgment and strategic thinking.
Responsibilities Manage a substantial caseload from intake through resolution.
Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and contracts.
Appear in court and before administrative agencies.
Meet with clients regularly to assess legal risks and develop case strategies.
Negotiate settlements and collaborate with colleagues to ensure timely case progression.
Mentor junior attorneys or paralegals.
Contribute to firm best practices and support business development.
Requirements Strong foundation in law with experience in litigation or advisory matters.
Substantive experience in Labor and Employment Law is highly desirable.
Proven ability to provide clear, practical legal advice to a diverse client base.
Excellent research skills, including case law analysis and statutory interpretation.
Advanced negotiation skills with a track record of resolving disputes.
Education Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
Certifications Active membership in good standing with the Massachusetts Bar (or eligibility for prompt admission).
Skills Strong legal research and writing skills.
Effective communication and client management abilities.
Strategic thinking and problem‑solving skills.
