Weekends Only Quality Checker

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Quality Technician to join our Quality Assurance team. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in food/beverage manufacturing, strong proficiency in Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and hands-on laboratory testing experience. Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Quality Control or Quality Assurance role, preferably within the Food & Beverage, Pharmaceutical, or a highly regulated manufacturing environment. A Bachelor's Degree (BS/BA) or Associate’s Degree (AS) in a technical field such as Chemistry, Biology, Food Science, Microbiology, or Chemical Engineering is highly preferred.

Salary: $17 - $23 per hour

Shift: Bachelors

QC Testing & Analysis: Perform routine and non-routine laboratory testing on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished beverage products (e.g., Brix, pH, acidity, turbidity, dissolved CO2, and microbiological plating/analysis).

Instrumentation: Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory equipment and instrumentation (e.g., spectrophotometers, titrators, pH meters, density meters, gas chromatographs, or HPLC systems).

GMP & Compliance: Strictly adhere to and enforce Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) principles across the facility.

Accurately record, analyze, and report all quality control data, including Certificate of Analysis (COA) generation, non-conformance reports, and trend analysis.

In-Process Checks: Conduct line audits and in-process quality checks (e.g., fill weight, seal integrity, package integrity, label verification) on the production floor.

Issue Resolution: Identify, isolate, and document non-conforming product/material and assist in root cause analysis for quality deviations.
