Job Description RN – Labor & Delivery (Contract) Location: Arizona 85306
Duration: 13 Weeks (27 Apr 2026 – 25 Jul 2026)
Pay: $2,230 – $2,500/week
Schedule

Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
3 x 12-hour shifts
Variable shift days
Weekend and holiday rotation required

Position Summary & Responsibilities
Provide L&D nursing care using nursing process (assess, plan, implement, evaluate)
Manage antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum patients
Support Level 1 Trauma and Level 3 Perinatal patient population
Monitor maternal and fetal status and respond to changes in condition
Administer medications and assist with labor management/interventions
Collaborate with OB providers and interdisciplinary care team
Document all care accurately in Cerner EMR
Requirements
Experience:
Labor & Delivery experience – Required
Level 1 Trauma / Level 3 Perinatal experience – Required/Preferred per facility
Cerner EMR experience – Required
Licensure/Certifications:
Active Arizona RN License – Required
BLS – Required
ACLS/NRP – Typically required in L&D (per facility standards)
