Transporter Opportunity at Wesley Medical Center

Provides patient transportation for all sections of Imaging Services, Cardiovascular Services and throughout the facility.
Demonstrates the ability to adapt technique/treatment to age of population served, including newborn, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients, while providing care/service with respect to cultural differences and spiritual needs.
Moves and lifts patients, managing any portable equipment that must be transported with the patient.
Transports patients to and from various areas of the hospital to imaging services.
Transports patients throughout facility as directed.
Checks patients in and out of nursing units.
Monitors transportation equipment for daily use.
Maintains cleanliness of all transportation equipment.
Required Registration, Licensure or Certification

~ Current Basic Life Support (BLS) through AHA or ARC

Demonstrates ability to communicate effectively with customers
