Position/Title: Maintenance Worker
Qualifications: High School Diploma
General carpentry, plumbing and electrical experience
Minimum 5 years of maintenance experience preferred
Direct Supervisor: Head of Maintenance
Overview: The Maintenance worker position is a twelve (12) month position Responsibilities include H. C, electrical wiring, communication systems, maintaining the physical integrity of all SEDOL buildings, and purchase equipment. Performance Responsibilities:
C. electrical, plumbing and physical integrity, including doors and hardware, of all SEDOL buildings.
Assist in ice and snow removal from assigned SEDOL sites.
Initiate preventative maintenance procedures for all SEDOL operated buildings.
Repair SEDOL equipment on an as needed basis.
Utilize School Dude Software work order/preventative maintenance system.
Complete assigned building, equipment projects with a specific schedule.
Provide maintenance for the Maintenance Department vehicles.
Complete other tasks as assigned by the Assistant Superintendent of Business Services and the Manger for Purchasing and Operations/Maintenance to support the education program provided by SEDOL
Assist Operations staff with order deliveries and meeting set-up.
Assist Operations staff with summer classroom moves.
Salary: $20.98 - $26.86 per hour based on education and experience.
