Job Summary:

A Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) position is available in Chandler, Arizona. This role involves caring for patients requiring telemetry monitoring, primarily those on cardiac drips such as Cardizem, Heparin, and Amiodarone. Candidates are required to bring their RN license on the first day. The assignment offers 12-hour night shifts with the potential for self-scheduling and requires working weekends and rotating major holidays.
Job Details:
Location: Chandler, Arizona
Schedule: 12-hour night shifts (7 p.m. 7 a.m.), with a minimum of 36 hours per week. There is a requirement to work 4 weekend shifts in a 4-week schedule and to rotate major holidays.
Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, BLS (Basic Life Support) certification, ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification, NIHSS (National Institute of Health Stroke Scale) certification from the AHA (American Heart Association) or APEX, at least 2 years of recent cardiac telemetry experience within the past 6 months, and the ability to read and interpret strips. Candidates must pass a dysrhythmia exam within 48 hours of receiving the offer through RELIAS, with no more than 2 attempts, and participate in a pass/fail simulation lab on the first day of orientation.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with decreasing cardiac drips per physician orders and parameters, experience caring for patients waiting for hospital beds, ability to help with ED vitals, IV starts, and medication administration but not primary RN for ED patients.
Additional Information: There is no vent equipment on this unit. Nurses will float to med/surg, telemetry, overflow units, and other designated EDs as needed. Orientation includes 2 shifts at the primary campus for med/surg/telemetry. The fluorishing environment involves caring for patients awaiting hospital beds and performing various patient care tasks. The upcoming start date is 06/22/2026.
