Controller - Controller, CPA, Accounting

Controller - CPA Compensation: $150,000-$180,000

We are seeking an experienced Controller to lead the accounting function for a growing organization operating in a complex, fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is a strong technical accountant, proven leader, and hands-on problem solver who can bring structure and accountability while partnering effectively with executive leadership.

Key Responsibilities Lead all accounting operations, including month-end close, financial reporting, general ledger, and related accounting functions

Ensure timely and accurate financial statements in accordance with GAAP

Evaluate current accounting processes, identify gaps, and implement improvements

Strengthen internal controls, policies, procedures, and financial reporting processes

Lead budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial analysis

Serve as a key financial partner to executive leadership

Manage external audit, tax, banking, and other financial relationships

Develop, mentor, and hold the accounting team accountable while remaining willing to be hands-on when necessary

Lead accounting-related system, process, and organizational improvement initiatives

Identify financial and operational risks and proactively develop solutions

Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required

CPA required

10+ years of progressive accounting experience with significant leadership responsibility

Previous Controller or comparable senior-level accounting leadership experience

Strong GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls knowledge

Demonstrated success improving accounting processes and navigating complex or changing environments
