SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager

Job Summary
The Project Manager (SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager) is responsible for overseeing projects from initiation through delivery, ensuring that the projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. As a SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager, the individual will be responsible for managing and prioritizing the product backlog, representing the customer, and working closely with the development team to ensure successful product delivery.

Key Responsibilities Lead and manage cross functional project teams to deliver high-quality projects within the defined constraints.
Develop and maintain project plans, budget tracking, and resource allocation.
Communicate with stakeholders to ensure alignment on project scope, timelines, and deliverables.
Facilitate team meetings, including sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives, and daily standups.
Collaborate with product owners and scrum masters to prioritize features and resolve dependencies.
Act as a liaison between the business stakeholders and the development team to ensure clear communication and understanding.
Identify and mitigate project risks, proactively resolving issues to keep projects on track.
Monitor project progress and performance metrics, providing regular updates to leadership.

Skill Requirements Strong understanding of the agile methodology and safe framework.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross functional teams and stakeholders.
Ability to prioritize and manage conflicting priorities in a fast paced environment.
Proficiency in project management tools such as Jira, Microsoft Project, or similar tools.
Knowledge of product management principles and practices.
Strong leadership skills to motivate and guide teams towards successful project outcomes.

Certifications: SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager (POPM) certification is preferred.

Skillset: Has good knowledge in the domains of Insurance, Finance and Banking.
Product Management, Project Planning, Resource Scheduling, Project Scheduling and Project Budgeting, Change Management, Risk Management, Impact Analysis, Product Strategy and JAD sessions, SWOT Analysis.
Agile - Backlog management, Sprint planning, Sprint retrospective, Backlog grooming, EPICS to user stories, Story Mapping, Release management, Product roadmap development.
