As a Security Officer Armed with Active Clearance in Mc Lean, VA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Part-Time Security Officer, you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. As an Armed Security Officer supporting a technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism. You will deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative team that acts with integrity.
Position Type: Part Time
Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out armed security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the facility, business areas, access points, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
Monitor access control points, verify authorized entry, and report suspicious activity, policy violations, and maintenance concerns to the appropriate contacts.
Prepare accurate incident reports, patrol logs, and daily activity documentation in accordance with site procedures and Allied Universal requirements.
Possess at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or a college degree.
Maintain an active Department of Defense Secret Clearance.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
