Telemetry RN - Weekend Work Nights

Registered Nurse - IMC

Minimum 1 year PCU/telemetry experience required. Experience with insulin drips, cardiac drips, post-cardiac cath care, and IV starts required. Active NY RN license required at submission. AHA BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS required (NIHSS prior to start). Recent Epic experience (within 2 years) required. Reliable transportation required.

Unit: Progressive Care Unit (PCU)

Provide care for adult patients with cardiac and hemodynamic instability, ACS, heart failure, post-vascular procedures, and insulin drip therapy. Manage telemetry monitoring, titrate drips, start IVs, perform EKGs, and deliver post-cardiac cath care. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and follow PCU protocols for high-acuity monitoring.

12-hour night shift RN position in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU). Adult acute inpatient setting with a 3:1 nurse-to-patient ratio. Travelers will be assigned to a resource float team and expected to float to appropriate units as needed. Every other weekend and holiday coverage required. No block scheduling. Orientation is 12 days. Start required within 2 weeks with active license on file at submission.
