Job Description Job Overview We are looking for a committed and talented Dental Hygienist to become a part of our vibrant dental team. Your role will be vital in enhancing oral health and guiding patients on effective dental hygiene practices.
Conduct comprehensive dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing to eliminate plaque and tartar.
Perform patient evaluations, which involve gathering medical histories and conducting oral examinations.
Inform patients about effective oral hygiene methods and the significance of routine dental check-ups.
Apply aseptic techniques to maintain infection control throughout all procedures.
Support the dentist during various treatments as required, ensuring efficient clinic operations.
Safely and effectively operate dental tools and equipment.
Stay informed about the latest developments in dental hygiene practices and technologies.
Preferred prior experience as a Dental Hygienist, with knowledge of Dentrix being an advantage.
Strong understanding of anatomy, medical terminology, and infection control measures.
Previous experience in assisting with dental procedures is beneficial.
