Pharmacist PRN - Community Pharmacy

Per Diem Pharmacist

We seek a Per Diem Pharmacist to perform professional duties and responsibilities associated with the processing of prescriptions. This person will cover locations in Hammond, New Orleans, Baton Rouge, Mandeville and surrounding areas.

Primary Responsibilities

Distribute drugs prescribed by physicians and other health practitioners

Provide information to customers about medications and their use

Solid focus on providing a superior level of customer service

Log data into the computer

Ensure compliance with all relevant laws of the applicable State Board of Pharmacy

Administration of immunizations as allowed by state boards of pharmacy

Any other usual and customary pharmacy duties

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy

Current pharmacist license

Candidates for the position will be subject to a standard license and background check

Pay and Benefits

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. The hourly pay for this role will range from $44.09 to $78.70 per hour based on full-time employment.
