Sales Associate

The Sales Associate's duties and responsibilities include working closely with customers to determine their product/service needs, answer product questions and recommend the solutions. Our ideal candidate is able to promptly resolve customer complaints and ensure maximum client satisfaction. To be successful as a Sales Associate, you must stay up to date with product features and promotions.

Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service

Assess customer needs and aid and information on product features

Welcome customers to the store and answer their queries

Go the extra mile to drive sales

Maintain in-stock and presentable condition assigned areas

Actively seek out customers in store

Process POS (point of sale) purchases

Collaborate with co-workers to ensure supreme customer service

Build productive and trusting relationships with customers

Comply with inventory control procedures

Suggest ways to improve sales (e.g. planning marketing activities, turning over showroom floor etc.)

Maintain knowledge in outdoor power equipment

Excellent computer skills (Excel, Outlook, Word, Teams)

Microsoft NAV experience is a plus

Basic understanding of sales principles and customer service practice

Strong sense of personal responsibility

Bilingual is a plus

High school diploma or equivalent

Previous sales experience preferred

Proven work experience as a Retail Sales Associate, Sales Representative or similar role

Employee must possess the ability to lift, carry, push and pull materials and objects weighing between 40-50lbs

May be required to look at a computer screen for long periods of time
