CentraState Medical Center currently has an employment opportunity for a Patient Transporter . This role is responsible for transporting patients to and from ancillary departments and nursing units as directed.
Runs errands as requested when not performing patient transports. Cleans equipment and supplies.
Makes rounds at the end of shift (8 pm and 10 pm) to obtain stretchers and wheelchairs. Accurately enters all required data on worksheets. Enters data on a timely basis.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Previous experience in a healthcare environment preferred.
Strong professional, organizational, and interpersonal skills to effectively relate with all members of the healthcare team.
