This role serves as a key resource for employees and leaders by supporting employee relations, benefits administration, payroll, onboarding, compliance, performance management, and HR systems. Working closely with the Vice President of Human Resources, the Human Resources Manager helps ensure consistent HR practices across the organization while providing hands-on support for employees and managers. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to HR projects and organizational initiatives while developing broader strategic HR experience over time.Responsibilities & Duties:Partner with the VP of HR on HR strategy, planning, and execution across the organizationPartner with department leaders to identify workforce needs and create effective staffing plansDrive HR process improvements and streamline HR operations for greater efficiency and complianceOversee onboarding and offboarding processes to ensure consistency and a positive experienceLead and facilitate new hire orientation, ensuring a consistent, engaging welcome experience for all new team membersProvide guidance and leadership on employee relations issues, conflict resolution, and performance improvement plansAdminister company policies and ensure consistent application across all departmentsSupport HR process improvement initiatives and recommend operational efficienciesPartner with the VP of HR on special projects and organizational initiativesAssist with implementation of HR programs and process enhancementsContribute to employee engagement and culture initiativesMaintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and lead HR risk management effortsManage benefits administration, annual open enrollment, and employee inquiriesOversee payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and timely submission of payroll dataCoordinate with payroll vendors or internal payroll teams to resolve payroll issues and discrepanciesEnsure compliance with payroll-related tax laws, wage and hour regulations, and recordkeeping requirementsSupport the development and implementation of training programs and leadership developmentEnsure accurate recordkeeping and HRIS data managementPrepare and analyze HR metrics and reports for leadership decision-makingProvide backup recruiting support as neededQualifications:At least 3 years of Human Resources experience with progressively increasing responsibilityExperience administering payroll, benefits, onboarding, and employee relations programsStrong understanding of employment laws and HR compliance requirementsExperience supporting managers with employee relations investigations, coaching, and performance managementExperience with HRIS and payroll systems; Paylocity experience strongly preferredMulti-state HR experience preferredExcellent communication and relationship-building skillsBachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field preferredSHRM-CP or PHR certification preferredOther:All offers of employment are contingent upon a drug panel and a background checkValid Driver's License is requiredYour information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines
