Assignment

30 - 40 hours per week. All shifts will be between 7:30 AM - 5:30 PM. June 16, 2026 - August 19, 2026

Starting wage range: Starting at $19.57/hr. Click here to view rates for this position. Rates can be found in Appendix C. Not medical or dental benefit eligible.

Primary Objective of Positions

To plan, implement, and supervise theme-based summer day camp program for middle school children. To ensure a safe and fun atmosphere for all participants.

Job Responsibilities

Help plan enriching curriculum and program goals for 10 one‑week programs.

Plan and carry out age-appropriate activities consistent with class goals.

Manage classroom, outdoor activities, and field trips; supervise and provide guidance for participants. Participate in all planned activities.

Maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.

Job Qualifications

B.A. or B.S. degree in education, child development, recreation, or a related field.

Evidence of successful experience working with middle school aged students.

Evidence of successful program leadership.

Evidence of positive interpersonal skills; ability to relate well to children and adults.

Ability to work under minimal supervision.Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality.
