Travel expectations - up to 15%

High School Diploma or GED required.

3-5+ years of supervisory experience on large-scale structured cabling or data center construction projects.

Experience managing large, distributed field teams (100+).

Data center new build or retrofit experience strongly preferred.

Experience working with union telecom crews and labor compliance preferred.

Lead job site safety standards, compliance, and continuous improvement.

Support incident investigations, RCAs, and data-driven lessons learned.

Direct Data Center Construction Operations

Drive the development and execution of project plans, installation strategies, and site logistics.

Maintain and manage 5-week look-ahead schedules, labor forecasts, and daily progress tracking.

Coordinate with Project Management and Procurement to ensure timely delivery and staging of materials.

Oversee daily field operations to meet or exceed production goals, budget, and schedule milestones.

Serve as the senior SME for data center low voltage, structured cabling, and fiber installations.

Ensure compliance with ANSI/TIA, BICSI, NEBS, and all customer specifications.

Lead testing and commissioning activities including OTDR, power meter validation, labeling standards, and QA protocols.

Identify design gaps, field conflicts, or changes; Lead, Mentor & Develop Field Teams

Manage large (100+) field technician teams (union or non-union).

Lead hiring, training, performance evaluations, and career development for onsite personnel.

Provide technical coaching and mentorship to elevate team capability and quality.

Act as the Client's Trusted Onsite Partner

Serve as the primary construction operations liaison for the client.

Participate in customer meetings, site walks, technical discussions, and milestone reviews.

Proactively address workflow challenges, delays, and installation issues.

Proven ability to lead, motivate, and mentor diverse field teams.

Strong conflict resolution, workforce planning, and prioritization skills.

Deep expertise in low voltage, fiber, and structured cabling within mission-critical environments.

Experience with commissioning, system validation, and telecom QA/QC processes.

Experience identifying design discrepancies and managing technical change control.

Operational & Digital Skills

Ability to manage work sequencing and project phasing plans.

Proficiency with MS Office, Bluebeam, and construction management platforms.
