Overview A law firm seeks an Associate Attorney in Westlake Village, CA. This full-time position involves providing legal advice, conducting research, and representing clients in court. The role offers a flexible work model, allowing for some remote work to ensure a healthy work-life balance.
Duties Provide legal advice and conduct thorough research.
Represent clients in court appearances and trials.
Engage with clients throughout the legal process.
Conduct client consultations and draft legal documents.
Prepare discovery and motions for court proceedings.
Attend hearings and depositions.
Negotiate settlement agreements.
Requirements Strong legal research and writing skills.
Experience in civil litigation.
Proficient research and negotiation skills.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
At least 3-5 years of relevant experience.
Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Certifications Active member of the State Bar of California.
Skills Strong legal research and writing skills.
Proficient in negotiation and client engagement.
Excellent communication and analytical skills.
