Mechanical Engineering Design Tech I

An innovative and rapidly growing advanced energy technology company is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to support the design, development, testing, and deployment of complex mechanical systems within a highly regulated engineering environment.

The successful candidate will work alongside experienced engineering leaders while taking ownership of critical mechanical engineering activities across multiple programs.
What You'll Do Support the design, analysis, and integration of mechanical systems, equipment, and components
Develop calculations, specifications, technical evaluations, and engineering documentation
Contribute to the design and evaluation of process systems, plant systems, piping networks, and mechanical equipment
Support supplier engagement, fabrication, manufacturing, testing, installation, and commissioning activities
Participate in design reviews, technical evaluations, and multidisciplinary engineering discussions
Apply engineering standards, quality requirements, and configuration management processes
Identify and resolve technical issues while supporting project execution objectives
What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline
Approximately 5-10 years of relevant engineering experience
Hands-on experience supporting mechanical systems, equipment, components, calculations, specifications, or engineering documentation
Exposure to pressure vessels, piping systems, heat exchangers, process systems, plant systems, manufacturing, testing, installation, or supplier support activities
Strong mechanical engineering fundamentals and problem-solving skills
