Assembly Material Handler 3rd Shift

JOB DETAILS

Night shift starts at 6:00 pm.

The shifts are 8, 10, and 12 hours long depending on work orders and season.

Position may involve operating forklifts, cranes, and other material handling equipment. Other areas include crate/production assembly.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide customer‑responsive and efficient manufacturing support activities.

Complete work assignments and customer orders safely, accurately, on time and without damage.

Assist co‑workers and customers.

Inspect materials, products, machinery, tools and equipment.

Assist with inventory management activities, including daily updates to the ERP system.

Maintain a clean and orderly work environment.

Maintain a steady flow of materials and resources to production workstations.

Assist in movement of inventory within and among workstations and areas.

Comply with all safety requirements and use applicable personal protective equipment.

QUALIFICATIONS

High school diploma or GED.

At least one year of related work experience in a manufacturing environment.

Ability to become certified to operate forklift, overhead crane, yard mule, and side loaders.

Ability to work in a non‑temperature‑controlled environment.

Experience with side forklift, bander, nail gun, overhead crane, saws, stretch wrap machine, and various pneumatic equipment is preferred.

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds continuously, up to shoulder height and below the waist.

Good attitude and team oriented.

Valid driver’s license.

This position may include overtime.
