HousekeeperSchedule: Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, Sundays, 9am-5:30pmEmployee is required for maintaining the clean and neat appearance of all assigned areas. The member is required to adhere to KW policies and procedures. Duties and Essential FunctionsReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Clean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and/or draperies, using vacuum cleaners and/or shampooers.Carry toilet items, and cleaning supplies, using wheeled carts.Sweep, scrub, wax, and/or polish floors, using brooms, mops, and/or powered scrubbing and waxing machines.Dust and polish furniture and equipment.Keep storage areas and carts well-stocked, clean, and tidy.Wash windows, walls, ceilings, doors and woodwork, waxing and polishing as necessary.Report any and all maintenance items that include, but is not limited to, burned out lights, leaks, broken equipment to the Building Maintenance Department.Disinfect equipment and supplies, using germicides or steam-operated sterilizers.Observe precautions required to protect Residents, guests and property, and report damage, theft, and found articles to supervisors.Prepare rooms for meetings, and arrange decorations, and furniture for social or business functions.Properly utilize new equipment and follow safety procedures prior to using this equipment.Work EnvironmentThe housekeeper performs their work in a residential environment. While primarily responsible for the cleaning of common areas and waiting areas, they will need to have the ability to work around chemical cleaning solutions.Position requires exposure to the outdoor climate and weather conditions.Ability to push cleaning equipment up to 30 lbs.Ability to handle, finger, grasp and feel objects and equipment.Position Type/Expected Hours of WorkNon-exempt position (hourly) and the schedule will be determine at each property/location to suit the business needs of the community.
