Description:
We are seeking a Registered Nurse specializing in Intermediate Care.
This position aims to replace agency nurses with contracts expired, expiring, or canceled.
The nurse will be responsible for providing care to patients with various diagnoses.
Daily patient census is approximately 24 patients.
The unit occasionally deals with cardiac drips and other specialized procedures.
Interdisciplinary support will be available from various services, including physical therapy and social services.
Skills required include managing and caring for patients with ventilators, administering medications, and providing critical patient care.
Additional skills include interpretation of arterial blood gases and management of dysrhythmias.
Candidates should be prepared to handle a flexible schedule, including weekend shifts and occasional float assignments.
