Part-time Weekend Restaurant Host

Host
We're a multiple award-winning employer with an opening for a part-time host to ensure that residents and guests have a positive experience within the restaurants. Hosts greet residents, family members, guests, and/or staff with a friendly demeanor; assist with seating and monitor food service according to dining standards to assure a pleasurable dining experience. Hosts create meaningful moments in the lives of residents, visitors, and staff by demonstrating friendly welcoming behaviors. This part-time role is 15 hours per week. Shifts are mainly in the afternoons and evenings and may vary based on scheduling needs. Weekend availability is required.
English language proficiency.
Hourly Pay Range
$A generous paid time off (PTO) program including vacation days/personal days, sick days, and holidays. This is an "earn-as-you-go" plan that rolls over year to year, offering long- and short-term flexibility.

More than a luxury residence, The Mather is in an enviable walkable, urban neighborhood, close to the Metro and all the DC area has to offer. Opened in March 2024, The Mather includes 293 independent living apartment homes, as well as assisted living, memory support, and skilled nursing, along with multiple restaurants, a fitness center, art studio, gardens and more.
