Shop Welder - FULL TIME

Position: Welder / Fitter Location: NE Portland, OR Pay: $28-$32/hour DOE with room to grow Schedule:
Day Shift: 6:00AM - 2:30PM
Swing Shift: 2:30 PM - 10:30 PM Paid Lunch Included for Swing
No swing shift differential
Our client is a busy manufacturing and fabrication shop in N.Portland looking for experienced welders and fabricators to join our growing swing shift team. We take pride in producing high-quality fabricated parts for a variety of industries while maintaining a strong team-oriented environment focused on craftsmanship and precision.
What You'll Do: Fit, fabricate, and weld parts using shop drawings and blueprints
Perform FCAW welding and assist with TIG welding as needed
Operate fabrication equipment, welding machines, drill presses, and shop tools
Read and interpret blueprints and fabrication drawings accurately
Ensure finished products meet quality standards and customer specifications
Paid lunch every shift

What You Need to Have: The Musts: Minimum 2 years of welding experience
FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding) experience
Basic TIG welding knowledge
Experience operating fabrication and shop equipment
Ability to read blueprints and fabrication drawings
Strong fitting and fabrication experience
Well-rounded welding background
Experience in a manufacturing or production environment
